Parents, today your child heard that Ezra read God’s Word to the people who returned from Babylonian captivity. Other priests helped the people understand what they were hearing. People praised and worshiped God when they heard the Scripture.

Take a moment to turn the lights out in your house this evening and give your child a flashlight. Tell them they have to make it from their room to the refrigerator without bumping into anything. When they get there have ice cream ready and spend the evening memorizing the Unit Verse together.
